Our Charismatic Community supports the “new evangelization” advocated by the then Pope Benedict XVI. We assist in the renewal of the parish by providing individuals opportunities to deepen their relationship with God, foster the spiritual gifts for building God’s Kingdom, and help others experience a deeper love of God in their life. For Catholic charismatics, the central experience is “the baptism of the Holy Spirit.” The baptism of the Holy Spirit differs from the traditional Catholic infant baptism with water. Adults baptized in the Holy Spirit have their faith reborn and strengthened by members of the congregation laying their hands on them. We are focused on building a spiritual community patterned on the priestly prayer of Jesus Christ that “they may all be one” (John 17:21). Some of our major activities are weekly Praise & Worship, annual Pentecost Novena, and weekly intercessory prayers. We meet every Tuesday at 3:00 PM in the church.
Community of Catholic Women (CCW)
The CCW provides opportunities for spiritual growth, the development of God-given talents, and the establishment of caring relations with others. The Pastor of Our Lady of Grace serves as our Spiritual Advisor. Led by the Spirit and Our Blessed Mother, we are involved in many endeavors such as fundraising, supporting our food bank, our homebound, our ill, and our parish families in mourning. Every woman in our parish is cordially invited to join the CCW.
Hispanic Community
The Hispanic Ministry is composed of 12 members who represent both the liturgical groups and different ethnic and cultural groups that form the Hispanic community. We assist in the formation, implementation, and evaluation of ministry programs to the Hispanic community. We represent the community on the Parish Pastoral Council and other Support Groups within the parish. We promote and support the participation of the Hispanic community in the general life of the parish. As such, we have fundraisers to support the various needs of the parish and other ministries and plan activities such as Retreats, Posadas, and celebrations of Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, The Three Kings (Epiphany), etc. for the Hispanic Community. We also participate in the Hispanic Diocesan Mass.

Our auxiliary is a group of dynamic ladies who foster the growth of members and women through prayer, education, service and fellowship. Fellowship and working diligently as a team, has allowed us to raise funds to award many scholarships to females that will be attending college and to support various charitable organizations in our community. The Ladies Auxiliary meets every fourth Wednesday of the month (Sept-May) at 1 pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Norvell Bryant Highway in Lecanto. Annual dues are $7 and applications can be obtained from any member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Legion of Mary
Our primary objective is the spiritual growth of its members with the Blessed Mother Mary as a model to imitate with the total giving of self to Jesus through Mary. The Legion of Mary is a spiritual organization fully approved by the Vatican. Members share their Catholic faith in Jesus and their trust in his Mother Mary. At our Lady of Grace, the Legion of Mary’s apostolic work consists of promoting family rosary, reciting the rosary at nursing homes, visiting nursing homes and hospitals, and bringing the Holy Eucharist to the sick and the homebound.
